FRIENDS

As a college student, i have discovered the various personalities and characteristics that your typical student is likely to come across on a daily.  The social dynamics differ but yet understandable if time is taken to observe them thoroughly.  Our cultures, traditions, religions and customs are all exposed in this one compound allowing individuals to have an open mind towards others and exercise tolerance.

I believe that it takes a set of mature individuals to be able to interact in such dynamics.  As a result, there is more unity and cooperation as the days unfold.  Considering the times our parents were conformed to a certain 'kind' of acts, its undoubtedly true that we have progressed intensely but also in a more gradual, comfortable manner.

Growing up I had the privilege to be exposed to different kinds of people without paying emphasis on the skin colour or background.  As young individuals we would get along based on sincerity, reliability and trust and that drew the ground foundation to that relationship.  Everything else that you had to learn about your friend as far as upbringing is concerned would unfold in due time.  This has helped me alot in understanding people and not be downright judgemental.  I believe that people act on things for their own given reasons, whether it be pressure, desire or impulse so whatever the outcome is, its meant to be.

I have to acknowledge my high-school friends for giving me a wider perspective in life.  They have paved the way and made it easier for me to relate to just about anyone and for this reason I can be able to communicate however, whereever and without boundaries.
